Movie in the Park! The CSDSA social committee is hosting a movie (Big Hero 6) in Mansions Park (behind the fire station) in Manitou Springs. This event is open to all our members! CSDSA will provide the movie, popcorn and drinks. Bring your family, friends, chairs, blankets, and pillows and come out and enjoy the night! When: Saturday, June 13th 8:00pm Where: Mansions Park Manitou Springs, CO Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. The park will be able to accommodate everyone but the RSVP will help us know the amount of drinks and popcorn to provide. It will also make it much easier if we need to notify you in case of bad weather. Things to remember: 1. Invite a friend 2. RSVP! 3. Bring your chairs, pillow, blankets, etc.

Take a Hike! Join the CSDSA Teen Group on a guided nature hike at Fountain Creek Nature Center! Fountain Creek Nature Center will provide the environmental education program during which we will explore the communities of creek, woodland, meadow, marsh, and pond. Our teens will learn about living organisms, how they interact with one another, discover differences between living and nonliving things, producers, consumers and decomposers. The program consists of a video, wetland metaphor activity, Exhibit Room discovery and hike featuring a pond study of macro invertebrates living in the water. When: Saturday, June 20th from 9-11:30 with a picnic lunch from 11:30-12:30 (please bring a sack lunch and a drink). We will provide a cooler to keep the lunches cool while we explore the wetlands. Where: Fountain Creek Nature Center (hike) 320 Peppergrass Lane Fountain, CO 80817 Fountain Creek Regional Park (lunch) Highway 85 and Duckwood Road Pavilion #2 Who: Current members of the CSDSA Teen Group (Ages 13-19) and one teen guest! Dress for the weather-including sunblock and a hat, if needed Special Note to Family Members: While some teens are responsible and mature enough to be left alone, we recognize that not all teens are ready for that level of responsibility. As this is not respite care, parents/older responsible siblings are welcome to join as chaperons
